Oops, Forgot to rate the campsite. The campsites were very CLEAN, big spaces for nice size rigs, all hooks were perfect. My favorite was the hard plastic picnic tables for all our outdoor cooking. So much better than wood never have to worry about rotting. By having such a nice clean site is due to having the horses tacked up at the main barns which is good. They have saddle racks at each stall so you only have to unload 1 time for arriving and leaving. I thought that was great!!! They thought of everything. Hats off to both Donna and Shawn!!!

I have to say as soon as we pulled in to True West we were impressed. Totally shocked for them to clean out the back of my horsetrailer. That's never happened at any other place we have stayed. A big plus!!! The stalls were great they had clean shaving wagon that was filled everyday for our use. Made it so easy for us to take care of the horses. Trailhead was close so that made the riding real nice. My other favorite part was we were real close to Picket State Park 2 miles down the road. So we were able to enjoy the VERY CLEAN Beach on the warm days and hiked down to see the Twin Arches. I can't say enough about Shawn and Donna they are both definitely horse lovers and provided all our need. We loved them so much that we invited them to join us for dinner a few nights. Loved there company!! They are more than just camp hosts they are friends for life. Need more people like them.
